Executive orders - April 2, 2025 to April 11, 2025
Considering that Republicans say they want to cut spending and shrink the government, Trump has generated a whole lot of work and, in some cases (e.g. maritime dominance) a whole lot of expense.
Not published as an Executive Order (yet): Trump exempts smartphones and computers from new tariffs (including from China). No prizes for guessing which of his buddies will benefit from that.
Military Mission for Sealing the Southern Border of the United States and Repelling Invasions - authorizes the US military to take control of land at US-Mexico border
Modifying Reciprocal Tariff Rates to Reflect Trading Partner Retaliation and Alignment - increases China tariffs to 125%, cuts the tariff to other countries to 10% for 90 days. He blinked, but still many countries are facing higher tariffs than before he started all this dangerous nonsense.
Addressing Risks Associated with an Egregious Leaker and Disseminator of Falsehoods - Miles Taylor, who wrote an op-ed using the name "Anonymous" describing resistance in Trump's administration in 2018, then a book.
Addressing Risks from Chris Krebs and Government Censorship - then Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency director said 2020 election was fair and secure. Trump disagreed, hence this revenge.
Addressing Risks from Susman Godfrey - Susman represented Dominion Voting Systems Inc. against Fox News and won. The law firm is suing, as are some of the others.
Modernizing Defense Acquisitions and Spurring Innovation in the Defense Industrial Base - threatens cancellation for over-budget, delayed Pentagon programs
Restoring America’s Maritime Dominance - complains that China builds far more ships, and more cheaply, than the U.S., seeks to fund more shipbuilding.
Directing the Repeal of Unlawful Regulations - cites 10 Supreme Court decisions, e.g. Loper Bright v. Raimondo (Chevron doctrine).
Reducing Anti-Competitive Regulatory Barriers - This could affect, for example, FDA approvals, clinical trials, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement regulations, energy, crops and livestock regulations, transportation, logistics, etc.
Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting to Unleash American Energy - "directs certain agencies to incorporate a sunset provision into their regulations governing energy production" (long list of laws from which regulations have been derived). Just another way of Trump trying to get around energy and environmental rules.
Reforming Foreign Defense Sales to Improve Speed and Accountability - this should benefit major U.S. defence contractors. This follows on from Biden's Tiger team.
Maintaining Acceptable Water Pressure in Showerheads - repeal of Obama's 13,000-Word Regulation Defining “Showerhead”.
Education and Sharing Day, U.S.A., 2025 - celebrates Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson.
National Former Prisoner of War Recognition Day, 2025 - "My Administration is steadfastly committed to taking care of our great veterans — especially every former American prisoner of war (POW)." Yet he said of John McCain: “He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” and he is cutting the VA. Trump also claims "my proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker and unifier" - yeah, right.
National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, 2025 - it's all the fault of Biden and the aliens, of course.
Amendment to Reciprocal Tariffs and Updated Duties as Applied to Low-Value Imports from the People’s Republic of China - since China responded with a 34% tariff, Trump raises his 34% to 84%. Trade wars, anyone?
Reinvigorating America’s Beautiful Clean Coal Industry and Amending Executive Order 14241 - "It is a national priority to support the domestic coal industry by removing Federal regulatory barriers that undermine coal production, encouraging the utilization of coal to meet growing domestic energy demands, increasing American coal exports, and ensuring that Federal policy does not discriminate against coal production or coal-fired electricity generation."
Regulatory Relief for Certain Stationary Sources to Promote American Energy - delays coal plants having to reduce emissions, saying the technology is not available.
Protecting American Energy From State Overreach - "The Attorney General shall prioritize the identification of any such State laws purporting to address “climate change” or involving “environmental, social, and governance” initiatives, “environmental justice,” carbon or “greenhouse gas” emissions, and funds to collect carbon penalties or carbon taxes." White House overreach.
Strengthening the Reliability and Security of the United States Electric Grid - this will make AI data centres owners happy.
Review of Proposed United States Steel Corporation Acquisition - orders a review of the acquisition of U.S. Steel by Nippon Steel Corporation, Nippon Steel North America, Inc., and 2023 Merger Subsidiary, Inc., which Biden prohibited.
Extending the TikTok Enforcement Delay - until June 19, 2025.
National Donate Life Month, 2025 - organ donation.
National Child Abuse Prevention Month, 2025 - an attack on "transgender ideology". "We pledge to bring every abuser, predator, and evildoer who threatens the health and safety of our children to swift justice" - but we won't make sure they are adequately fed. "I have taken historic action to secure our southern border and end child trafficking" - but only of American children.
Cancer Control Month, 2025 - "My Administration remains devoted to pursuing groundbreaking medical advancement and spearheading innovative treatments to combat and prevent all forms of cancer." Really?
National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, 2025 - focus on those killed by illegal aliens.
Further Amendment to Duties Addressing the Synthetic Opioid Supply Chain in the People’s Republic of China as Applied to Low-Value Imports - tariffs on products from the PRC and Hong Kong.
Regulating Imports with a Reciprocal Tariff to Rectify Trade Practices that Contribute to Large and Persistent Annual United States Goods Trade Deficits - declares a national emergency due to U.S. goods trade deficits. Announced 'reciprocal' tariffs with minimum of 10% (list). I give more details here.
World Autism Awareness Day, 2025 - April 2, 2025

It's actually worse seeing these Orders written down,Sue. IT really shows the Over Reach and his miss use of power. I've never seen anything like it I my life, and hope we can stop him and his regime before we can't turn it around?!! Thank you, Sue, you're absolutely amazing, and will reStack ASAP 🙏
Anyone complying with the Felon Fascist, should be noted and investigated. So much damage is already done. People have taken a hit on their 401k, some MAGAs are going on social media complaining they regret voting for felon trump after losing a big chunk of money from retirement, being fired from their jobs, seeing cost of groceries rise etc. The stupids that voted for Trump but are now unhappy, should go to the Capital, like they did on J6…this time to remove the Fascist Felon.
