I’m sure some stupid, even dangerous incidents may happen but not on a grand scale. The right needs us to be fearful and they own most of the media. Yet they will still lose.
The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 (https://www.npr.org/2024/10/19/nx-s1-5156027/alien-enemies-act-1798-trump-immigration) only allows removal of non-citizens, and Congress has to have declared war. His mass deportation would no doubt sweep up American citizens as well. Initially it only applied to males of the age of fourteen years and upwards, but in 1918 women were added - 2 years before the 19th amendment. It would decimate some sectores e.g. agriculture and construction and so be bad for the economy. So yes, it's insane.
