I will be at one of the many Hands Off protests around the US on the 5th of April. Meanwhile, I resent our military and other so-called leaders who do not carry out the arrest of these deadly Seditionists. It’s like waiting for J6 justice all over again…that never happened.
I would not like to see a military coup. But I hope that the military are studying the Nuremberg trials and the right and requirement to refuse to obey an illegal order. MIlley refused, but Trump has replaced professionals with toadies.
If a president does them by Executive Order, the next president can reverse them. Corporations are not going to invest in bringing factories home with so much uncertainty. It is better if congress does them. And they should also be targeted at the industries you want to encourage at home, which Trump is not doing. His way will likely lead to a tariff war which is bad for all. And tariffs are in effect a tax paid by consumers.

Indeed. The danger may not be quite as immediate here as in the U.S., but it is real nevertheless. But I'm not obeying in advance.
