Politician / people who run for office should be serving, not self-serving. Some people though voted for a president for entertainment value and we all will bear the consequences.

Is there an out? Could Biden find enough courage to remind people (as was noted on Thom’s show the other day) that the Supreme Court ruled to say #45 could be on the ballot in certain states and they weren’t ruling on his serving as president. If this constitutional issue were pushed, who then would serve — or self-serve — in his stead? Vance, who likely would be worse? Unprofessionals, both of them: and thus rough years are ahead for us all. Is there some other out?

Sooner or later there will be a tipping point and enough people will reject the oligarchs and dictators, but who knows when?

So many failures. The Brexit fiasco clearly did real harm. And like the US, the press printed the lies.

One of Labour’s first acts…cutting the heating credit for seniors. Great way to differentiate yourselves from the CONservative party! 🙄

But the press in the US made sure Fascism was supported every inch of the way. The Seditionist-convicted felon-rapist psychopath is being welcomed back to the White House.

JFK had it correct…Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. We’ve seen this with Luigi Mangione.

Consequences of preventing peaceful resolution, sensible resolution..unfortunately, there will be more violence ahead. The worst criminal in history, the only domestic terrorist to attack the US…being sane washed by media & his stooges AND being put in the highest level job in the US! A man who stole national security documents!

We voters share some of the blame - enough of us vote for the wrong people. Give them an inch and they'll take a yard - leveraging their powers into greater powers, e.g. by gerrymandering. And some jobs shoud be professional rather than elected, so there won't be politically motivated selective prosecution, for example. And their rich donors enable them to carpet bomb us with brainwashing. Inequality is at the root of all ills.

You said, "Politicians often do not include in their bills any way to measure the success of their measures, or funding to measure the before and after." That would be evidence-based and scientific. You can't expect that from politicians who think building a base on one end of an island will cause it to tip over and sink. Remember that guy?

I missed that one. Thanks for the laugh. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/tipping-point/

ALthough islands do tip. Scotland is rising and London is sinking - has been ever since the last Ice Age when Scotland was weighed down by ice.. And if you don't build on solid rock, buildings can sink.
