You don't need to be an expert on war to know that war is a bad thing for the vast majority of people. Warmongers are some of the worst people in the world.
Absolutely Nothin' I give thanks to Eric Burton and the War, because this song is so relivent today. Thank you, Sue, once again, for being so Spot On 🎯 here's to another Week of Crazy, and will reStack ASAP 🙏💯👍
I love your list of the bad side of war. Very complete. It’s something the wealth hoarders don’t think about ever! They are fully removed from the reality of war. Trump and all republican Congressmembers (to include Dems who support some if trump’s BS) should be put on the front lines along with ICE. Immediately.
Anyone who is pro war should be in the war, and the leaders should be in the front line. It is not necessary to be young and fit for all the roles, though stamina would be useful. Stick all the ones who are not fit watching monitors of drones, for example, near to the front line. Or maybe they could do KP.
Excellent recap of wars' effects. Another question for humans to ponder, why turn to war's violence at all? What makes us prone to solve differences with brute force? Why is violence such a common response tool? Is violence rewarded in human culture? Why doesn't diplomacy, tact, and negotiation have a higher percentage of use in resolutions of conflicts?
That's a whole other can of worms. Never having resorted to violence myself (though occasionally I have been tempted), I'm hardly the best person to ask.
Because I am 70, and no longer drive, I order 100% of my groceries online. Sometimes fresh fruits and vegetables, but usually powdered, which I put in my morning smoothie. Real produce produced without pesticides is superior, but working moms, and retired people who don’t drive, are limited. I also have refrigerated meals delivered once a week for dinners. There is a financial cost for this service, but it may be an option for some retired people. I have used 2 different companies, and both were very good.
That's one thing the COVID pademic was good for. Lots more delivery services.
I have long got my fresh organic fruit and vegetables delivered from a farm box scheme. It's expensive, but being a vegetarian and organic is not as expensive as meat, unless you always go for the cheapest cuts. https://www.riverford.co.uk/
I also sometimes get my other groceries delivered.
When I was too ill to cook, I also ordered frozen ready meals.

Thanks for mentioning the song. I forgot to :(
I also like the song I’d love to change the world…🎵tax the rich, feed the poor/til there are-no rich no more….🎵

What a waste in every sense of the word!!!
